Information collection and use
Creating an account requires your name and email, handled through Firebase Authentication.
Once you're signed in, your workspace, broker, and template configuration syncs to our backend. That's what lets your team share a configured broker across devices instead of re-entering it on every phone. It's part of how the app works, not additional data collection.
Beyond what's described here and in the sections below, we don't collect anything else.
The app uses these third-party services, each of which may collect information used to identify you:
Log data
Whenever you use the app, in the case of an error we collect data on your phone called log data. This can include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, the app's configuration at the time, the date and time of use, and other statistics.
Cookies
Cookies are small files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. A website sends them to your browser and they're stored on your device.
The app doesn't use cookies directly. Third-party code and libraries it depends on may use them to collect information and improve their own services. You can accept or refuse these cookies through your device or browser settings. Refusing them may mean some parts of the service don't work.
Service providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals for reasons including:
- Operating the service
- Providing the service on our behalf
- Performing service-related tasks
- Analyzing how the service is used
These third parties have access to personal information only to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf, and they're obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Security
We use commercially reasonable means to protect the personal information you provide. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100 percent secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Links to other sites
The app may contain links to other sites. If you follow one, you'll land on a site we don't operate. We recommend reading that site's own privacy policy. We have no control over, and no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites.
Children's privacy
The service doesn't address anyone under the age of 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we delete it from our servers immediately. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us so we can take the necessary action.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at support@mqtizer.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Review this page periodically for changes. We'll post any updated version here, with a new "last updated" date at the top.
